we had nick, kirk and kyle guthy out for a day trip and once again we had to deal with thunderstorms and nautical seas, but the fishing was good. we were four for five on yellowfins. kyle comes back in september for his overnighter.
we had the waller family back out friday for some tunafishing, dodging thunderstorms we had our first bite in a downpour as eric landed a nice yellowfin. jason , dillon and cameron each landed a fish and we lost several others. the guys are opting for an overnighter next
we had pat paterson and friends along with ted and son tj out for an overnighter aug 6/7. we stopped inshore to boat a 69' bluefin est weight 175 lbs. we pushed offshore to troll the canyon but no tuna, however we trolled a white marlin ans a 100 lb mako. on the chunk we had a 88' est 250-275 mako and six nice yellowfins.
the guys were extremly good anglers and very helpful.
inshore for some bluefin action and caught an over and under. the over was 62" but a tiger shark got every bit of his meat, all that came to the boat was his head, spine and tail. we prowe had longtime customer brent peterson out july 29/30 with his crew . we stopped
we had jeff russo along with old friends and former head wrestling coach at north hunterdon high school tim flynn, present coach chris hrunka, and eric " drago" mcneel out for a day of tuna fishing. we caught 4 unders to 55 lbs and a 62'er about 115lbs. it was a great guys
